We have tried to select some old favorites and some books you may not have seen before.

"Crayons are quiet, Pots and pans are loud!" You can have a lot of fun with your toddler reading this book. Before long I am sure they will be joining in (especially the loud). One of many in a series by Leslie Patricelli starring the same funny, bald toddler. Make sure you take a look at the others.

Toddlers are fascinated with babies, this book has beautiful, detailed illustrations of diverse families.

My Big Animal Book

This big, sturdy book has photographs of all sorts of animals! Great opportunity to learn the names of animals and the noises they make.

These books by Karen Katz use bright, colorful illustrations to depict family life - especially hugs! Very sweet books.

Bedtime Peekaboo

Sturdy lift-the-flaps and textured pages makes this book a must for toddlers. Can your toddler find all of the soft toys?

Ten Little Monkeys

Illustrated by Annie Kubler, this is another from the 'book with holes' series. Colorful pictures and repetitive text make this an attractive book for toddlers.

My First Busy Day

Filled with the familiar and everything that toddlers love: getting dressed, playtime, noisy animals, cars and trucks, around the house, in the yard, out and about, colors and shapes, numbers and counting, mealtime, bath time, and bedtime.

Each Peach Pear Plum

This book is probably more for an older 1 year old (18mths +) with a fairly good attention span, as the illustrations and language are a little more complicated than some board books. The rhyming text is wonderful, and as your toddler gets older he or she will start to anticipate and join in the words.
