Tis the season for head lice. If your children are attending summer camp, be sure to use a nit comb every few days to check for head lice. There has been a surge in head lice cases reported throughout the city and suburbs. If you see your child scratching more than usual, be careful not to write it off to dry skin. An itchy scalp is a sign that head lice may be present. A good metal nit comb, can be your best defense against the little critters!
